Joey, Justin, and Chris recently returned from our third trip to Nigeria, where we had the incredible opportunity to train seminary students preparing to enter the mission field. This time, our team was bolstered by Chris, a new teammate who brought fresh energy and perspective to our efforts.
We focused on the "4 Fields" approach, a proven method for church planting and multiplication. Our goal was to equip these students with practical tools they could use to spread the Gospel effectively. The training was intense, and it was encouraging to see several students fully engaged and eager to apply what they were learning.
One student, in particular, stood out. He had already started five small house churches and was passionate about reaching Lagos, a sprawling city of over 20 million people, half of whom are Muslim. His vision for the city is ambitious but deeply inspiring, and it reinforced the importance of our mission.
Looking ahead, we plan to return to Nigeria, focusing even more on leadership development and church multiplication. The need is great, and as we continue to build relationships and share our knowledge, we're confident that these students will make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond.
