What's Happening in Nairobi

From July to December in Nairobi, we really focused on sharing the Gospel with Hindus and Muslims, and 171 Muslims and Hindus have heard the full Gospel. Several believed were baptized, and are being discipled.

In February, our team did a harvest push focusing on four different parts of the city. These are the numbers reported from the month-long intensive:

402 Gospel Shares,

137 with Muslims,

88 People trained,

10 New Trainers

3 Baptisms

3 New Churches

1 Residency Started

Our first one-year residency program was completed in November 2022 in which we equipped 17 Africans to advance the Gospel in Kenya and beyond. The residency program is basically a one-year missionary training program. The participants are trained formally every Saturday morning, but most of the training took the form of doing life on life, going out in the harvest together, coaching them through challenges as they share, disciple, and form churches, fellowshipping together, and even going on mission trips together. Seventeen people, all hand chosen, graduated from the program in November 2022 and have gone on to start churches, take the ministry outside of Kenya, and create their own residency programs.

I like that y'all are calling this very intentional year-long process "residency."
